Mercury enters the House of the Sun. 40+ mph winds and crystal clear skies at 8,000 on Haleakala Mountain, Maui, Hawaii. I really didnt think I would be able to get any imaging due to the high winds, but did manage to acquire enough video to assemble the next 5 images. These images age dedicated to Kalama Intermediate schools astronomy club, Bill Giebink, Dr. JD Armstrong, Dr. Jing Lee, Gary Fujihara, Rob Ratkowski, HAA, IFA, Kris and Tom Talbot, and Haleakala National Park.
