The hummingbird travels from its perch to the nearby feeder at regular intervals. Intent on their sugar fix, they take unreasonable risks. Ive even been told they will alight on your finger if placed at the feeder to get their prodigious tongue into the sweet nectar. Buzzing around like big bees, full of energy and purpose they delight the viewer with their antics.
