I took this image in Munising, MI, near Lake Superior on April 1, 2006 during the occultation of the Pleiades cluster by the Moon. Cloud cover was about 60% and so I had to observe & image through the sucker holes in the clouds. This image was taken just before Pleione and Atlas disappeared behind the moon at about 8:27 EST. I used a Takahashi FC-76 refractor on a Takahashi Teegul mount. I took this image with a Canon 10d DSLR at ISO400; a 1.6 second exposure.
