Description
The presently visible super nova in M100, taken on 2/26/06 with a TMB8, ST10 camera, no filter. Five, 5 minute exposures, debloomed and summed in Maxim. Log stretch and unsharp mask to highlight the beautiful spiral galaxy. The SN is the bright star in the arm to the left of the galaxy core, just resolved from the dim star.
