Im a pilot as well as a photographer and use my plane as an extremely tall tripod. This photo of Mount Saint Helens was taken the evening after a minor eruption. I had hoped to get there in time to photograph it, but the action had ended by the time we arrived. The color photos have spectacular sunset color, but I like the simplicity and contrast of this B&W. Shooting date; Nikon D2H, focal length 28mm, 1/180 sec, f2.8, ISO 200.
