Description

This image is an anaglyph, a type of 3D image. To see the 3D effect you need to view it through red and blue (or red and cyan) glasses, the type used for 3D movies. Simple cardboard frame glasses work fine. Place the red lens over the left eye. This image was made in Photoshop CS from a stereo pair of images taken 4 hours apart. I believe the best stereo will be made with 8 hours of separation and Im anxiously awaiting another opportunity to try. This image is best viewed from about 5 feet away. Shooting data; Nikon D100, Sigma 800mm f5.6 APO with 2x teleconverter for a focal length of 1600mm, manual exposure, 1/45 sec, f11, ISO 200.
