LRGB 480:103:99:135, 75% full size. This irregular galaxy in Cetus is a member of the local group of galaxies. I really like the way that the color of the background galaxy cluster at lower left contrasts with the blue young stars in the galaxy itself. This galaxy is also located within 5º of the ecliptic which means I had my first experience removing asteroids from my images. I located no fewer than 12 different asteroids over 8 nights from magnitudes 17.9 - 19.7, 2 of which were only discovered within 2005.
