This photo of the full moon was taken on 9/18/2005 as a set of 6 separate exposures using my 5-inch Meade Refractor and 3x Barlow element, with direct projection onto the CMOS sensor in my Canon D30 DSLR body. The 6 exposures were merged with Canons Photostitch software. The final image here was then level-adjusted and sharpened in Photoshop as a TIFF file, then reduced in size and saved as JPEG of just under 500K size.
