Taken from my backyard in Anacortes. One full color exposure for 16 mins with rough polar alignment (no polar scope yet and no autoguiding). I aligned by taking 5-minute snapshots of where the pole was supposed to be, and looking for the point around which the stars were rotating (i.e. the pole). Not quite as precise as I would like, but it worked okay. I also used a Celestron LPR filter, which helped to darken the background. I did some image tweaking: +0.4 digital exposure compensation with Canons software, and some slight brightness and contrast adjustment using Microsoft Picture It 9.
