From SE Michigan at pre-dawn,28 July 2005, NGC 253 in Sculptor was imaged, This galaxy is located at a low elevation in the South, so sky-glow was an issue. A Nikon D70 DSLR was prime focus to a Vixen A80SS refractor, 400mm, f/5, IDAS LPS filter, ISO 800, 7 x 4 min. Processed with Nikon Capture, ImagesPlus 2.5, Neat Image Pro, Paint Shop Pro 9.01. Vixen GP-DX tracking, auto-guided with STV Deluxe with e-finder guide scope.
