Canon 20D, 300mm f/2.8 Florite Lens with adapter resulting in 604.8mm FL @ f/3.5 (approx.) 4 min exposure with 4 min. Dark frame. ISO set at 1600, TC-80N3 remote. Single image, cropped 10%& processed in PhotoShop CS. The camera & lens were piggybacked on a Losmandy Gemini 3 & manual guided with Takahashi FS 78. Mag. 6+ skies 24 degrees 15 mph wind, taken near Panther Creek & Wolf Creek roads (1200), 30 miles W-SW of Eugene, Oregon, 1/4/2005 10:30 PM. This is my first shot at deep sky object with the 20D. More detail could be brought out by stacking various exposure times. Good Test with an FD lens on an EOS 20D.
