This was quite a challenge to take given that the first night (Nov 10) I captured both Luminance and color images, but forgot to slide my dew strap into the proper position at the beginning of the evening. This resulted in a dew-out on my scope. BUT, I kept the images, just in case. I was able to try again on the night of Nov 12, but encountered some of the heaviest fog I have had the opportunity to observe in. Undaunted, I imaged in between fog banks and was able to capture 1 hour of Luminescence and 1 two minute sub-exposure in Red before the entire skies were covered over for the remainder of the star party. Just for fun, I tried combining all images taken into the attached composite. Unfortunately, Alnitak shown very brightly through the dew and fog, so I had to do a tight cropping of the Flame. Image Data: - Scope: TOA-130 - CCD: ST10-XME - L: 17 x 5 min (Wed) ... plus ... 12 x 5 min (Fri), 1x1 - RGB: 8 x 2 min, 2x2
