Southern portion of North American Nebula taken from my back yard near downtown Sacramento, CA in early September with Moon and usual polluted city skies. This was a second test subject for new STL-11000 camera, Goldman H-Alpha filter and AP130 f/6 scope. I am looking forward to shooting LRGB color from a dark site soon. 5x10 minutes H-Alpha (Don Goldmans filter) at -10C, unbinned on AP130-f/6 with field flattener, guided Tak EM-200 mount with STL remote guider head on Tak FS-60C. Calibration, registration and combining done in MiraPro7, curves, levels and despeckle filter applied in Photoshop CS. No flats needed!
