Description
This is a single shot of the crater Longomontanus taken May 29, 2004 using a Celestron Celestar 8 SCT and Nikon Coolpix 990. Note AM figure on southeastern rim. A close-up of this area in a Lunar Obiter photo shows that this is a series of small closely-space craters. Also note lunar ray from Tyco that passes through this area.
