A surprise conversation

I called Televue the other day to get a recommendation on an eyepiece for my TV Renaissance 101 refractor that I've owned for the past 17 years. After talking with a very pleasant gentleman for a few minutes, I was surprised to find out that it was none other than Al Nagler himself. In this age of automation, I was just happy to talk with a human. Al was kind enough to go into great detail about my options for another eyepiece. It's nice to know that the founder and president of Televue still remembers on which side his bread is buttered. No wonder they make such fine products.

It's one of the prime benefit of owning a Tele Vue product ;-). His son David seems to have similar patience and enthusiasm as well.
