Takonites,
James asked me to post some more of my astro photos a few weeks ago after I showed a shot of the moon I took with my refractor. At the time I wrote that I am not into astrophotography, but that I do like to take a few photos of the Moon from time to time.
Well, I went and did it. I pointed the Mewlon 250 at M11 and M13 last night (this morning) and took a few images with my Nikon D200. These were made at prime focus, the mount was drift aligned, there was no guiding, stacking or any of that other “fancy” stuff I am sure a real astrophotographer would do. The shot of M13 was exposed for 60 seconds, the one of M11 25 seconds. So, just for fun, you can take a look at some fine clusters.
I plan to attend an astro imaging conference in July...
Clear skies,
Paul
