You need to go to the Meade web site and get the Autostar update utility (ASU).
and check their site for updates.

the last autostar II update was 12/6/04
Autostar II version 3.0i (1,796 KB) is available
do you have the cable to connect PC to Autostar?
I have done the updates several times but they are few and far between
