I believe Obama was an elementary school aged child when the incident occurred. He was at an age when you ate what you are given to eat. Not many parents let their kids choose to be vegans when they are in elementary school.

In contrast, Romney was a grown man. But, it was the 70s. However, the Americans of those ancient times exercised spectacularly bad judgment in many areas of life - for example Disco & Jimmy Carter.

I'm thinking it's pretty much a wash with a slight advantage to Obama.

That slide show has a picture of the [COLOR="Red"][well-respected chairman and CEO of a world-wide beverage maker][/COLOR] that laid me off . . . shocked According to that company, about 750 million people or so join the middle class each year in Brazil, Russia, India, and China. So, yeah, they'll be going where the money is . . .

Interesting article on Romney. I hope he doesn't flip-flop like Obama did on India. It's amazing to see how the economy has been totally gutted by access to cheap IT workers from India. The apartment complex is now 50 to 70% Indian. The office is 50% Indian. The virtual offshore team is 100% Indian.

Seriously, no matter which party wins, we're still totally screwed. Congress believed Bill Gates and Company when they testified that they needed H1B labor.

Not me. For many years I roamed the Earth thinking I was God's gift to skeet shooting. But, about a year ago, my Uncle confessed that he had set the choke on his shotgun to the widest possible setting when he took me skeet shooting a young teen. grin

This willy-nilly give away stuff is for the birds. If we want to forgive debts, then forgive all kinds of debts--consumer debt, home loan debt, car loan debt, etc. Even better, the government should just give everybody $100,000 to do with as they please. But, after that, all non-pension, non-disabled, entitlements should start getting rolled back.

Gas Prices Down

Prices are down because Obama hasn't done much saber rattling about the Iranian nuclear program. After Israel attacks them, the Iranians will mine the Persian Gulf and Egypt will close the Suez Canal. Then prices will go right back up.
