I think it is bad in that it puts an unreasonable burden of website providers to review every post for copyrighted material. That could caue the amount of free space on the web to decline and have an adverse effect on free speech and free expression.

That being said I have no problem prosecuting pirate site purveyors and music rippers. As a hobbyist/writer, I don't want to see my stuff copied. Movies and TV are leading exports for this country.

A friend of ours actually got carjacked on Martin Luther King Day in Southwest Atlanta. Fortunately, his truck was found. Of course, it was sans wheels, missing approximately $3.50 in change, and a bunch of 80s music tapes. The moral of this story: No matter how backed up a highway gets, don't ever get off the highway in Southwest Atlanta. :S

It would suck to be that captain. Running aground does not impress the chicks. Back when I was a boat captain, I ran aground one time. It totally sucked. I was right across from the dock. All my friends could see me. My wife was mad. Every time I pulled up the centerboard, the wind pushed us further onto the lee shore. Eventually, I had to jump into the Potomac, wade through nasty stinky mud with the anchor line, and pull the boat out into deeper water. Washing the boat was pain in the arse. I smelled bad for the ride home. I had trouble getting my wife interested in going sailing again. No fun!
