Redtail Hawk

This is my first real attempt at mid-flight shots. He was kind of far away so I cropped quite a bit off.

M42

Posted By Robert Watters

Thought I'd try to redeem myself after posting a similar shot a week or two ago that I scanned from a print. This is the standard low res scan from the photo shop. I might consider getting this re-scanned at high res since it is much better than the previous set. :-)

6" F5 Newt. on a Losmandy G11
Fuji Provia 400F slide film and Pentax K1000 camera
Single 45 minute frame with NO processing.

I really like this film but it does seem to be a little stong on magenta.

Comments appreciated,

IC 434

IC 434 and the Horsehead nebula. Also in the shot is NGC2024 (The Flame Nebula) and NGC2023. Same specs as the M42 shot except this one had some tweaks in PS.
