No images on any ads

I no longer see images on ads after I click them, even if it has a thumbnail image on the main classifieds list screen. That is, the expanded ad does not show any image list, or even a main image. This problem has been occurring for the last 3 days.

Any chance you have a pop-up blocker enabled?

Turner Classic Movies is currently showing the Oscar-winning 1950 Sci-fi flick Destination Moon.

I watched it. I especially liked the scene on the Moon when they took the pictures with the leather bound film camera. Also enjoyed the use of Chesley Bonestell's art and what looked like real Moon photos for some of the shots.

Polar alignment woes

I have a Celestron CGE-4 mount which I bought a polar alignment scope for. I am having a very hard time seeing the guide constellations through the alignment scope. Anyone else buy this and have issues with it?

Hi Jeremiah,
You can't actually see the constellations themselves through the polar scope because of the narrow field of view. Just rotate the polar scope so the constellations are at the same orientation in the scope as they are in the sky and then look through the scope and move the mount so that Polaris and the other star or two are in their positions as shown on the reticle. I hope this helps a little.

Focusing

It seems to me that if you can focus on the Moon, you should be able to focus on Saturn. I don't have any experience with video cameras but, my guess is you might need to adjust the "gain" or brightness to see Saturn.

The attacker in Quebec City was a white, christian, Quebec-born-and-raised, ethnically French young man. No amount of immigrant bans will stop these attacks...

From the Canadian Press: "

A vigil in Montreal on Monday for the victims of the Quebec City mosque attack. Ryan Remiorz/The Canadian Press via AP
Late Monday, Canadian authorities charged Alexandre Bissonnette, a white 27-year-old university student, with multiple counts of murder for an attack on a mosque in Quebec City that left six dead and many others injured. According to a report in the Globe and Mail, the 27-year-old Bissonnette "was known in the city's activist circles as a right-wing troll who frequently took anti-foreigner and anti-feminist positions and stood up for U.S. President Donald Trump." He also reportedly became a fan of far-right French leader Marine Le Pen after she visited Quebec City last March; a childhood friend and fellow student told the Globe and Mail that Bissonnette had become a xenophobe and was "enthralled" by racist nationalism."

Does the Trump admin. even think for 5 seconds before opening their pie-holes?

Rhetorical question, right?
