Made my own! I used 1/8" wood door skins. But sheet metal would work the same!

Insulating my Dome Floor and Pier?

How about a length of insulated heater duct slipped over the top and pulled down to the floor. it has insulation inside and a foil like outer layer.

Congratulations on having a wonderful wife! I have no experience with HOA's but as has already been said just keep it like the HOA wants it and you should be fine. Nothing beats having all your gear ready to go on a moments notice!you will find that you are doing 10 times more observing than you did before.(I hope your wife won't mind that!) grin

Hey Roger, Thats looking very good! I used a garage door seal between the base ring and the dome. I had to add a ring of melamine to close the gap a little and the plastic side makes a better seal also. 8)
