When I did my pier I set it so when I point my scope to Zenith
the center line of the scope is in the exact center of the dome.

A Streetlight Named #$*@*$@&(*^%#!

Posted By andy campbell

I wish WE could ALL get over OUR insecurity issues and get rid of the street lights! :S
Think of the money we could save on electricity and filters! grin

Sorry for the hijack Lee! I'm done. cwy

Maybe you could build a screen out of a plastic tarp or fabric of some kind to block the streetlight glare while you observe. When I had a streetlight in my yard a few years ago I used a small laser on a tripod to put out the light. I set it up on my roof and put the beam on the sensor on top of the light.Pain in the butt but it worked.

What sort of rating should this be?

Posted By andy campbell

If it was advertized in "excellent condition" and it arrives in POOR condition. Then I think it should be noted in the ratings!Let them know that this is unacceptable. We all should be very clear in our deals. After all Buyers can't see what their getting before hand. All we have is a Sellers description and a couple pics if we are lucky. And the pics might not even be of the actual item for sale. :S
