Maxscope 40 closeup

I am still learning how to process the Sun with my equipment, but this is my best try so far. The scope is the little tiny Maxscope 40 and the camera is
the Nikon 5000. I still need to learn how to blend the
two pictures together, but I am getting there. Any tips are always welcome.

Mars with a 3.5 inch scope

I setup my little Televue 85 last night and shot Mars with it. I took a minute of video with a Toucam Pro webcam and a 5X Powermate. Processed in Registax and Photoshop.

Well I finally got some detail out of Mars. I haven't figured out how to align the images yet and I don't have an infared filter, but I am happy:-) C-8 with 2.5X Powermate, 1 minute of video, stacked in Registax.

Where to get Mars filters for webcam

I have been noticing that a lot of people are using a Baader U/V infared blocking filter and a magenta filter on their Toucam Pro webcams when imagine Mars. I would like to know where I could buy both of those filters. If anybody has a distrubuter and part numbers please send them to me or post here.

Best Mars for me yet!

I just got my new Baader UV-IR-Cut-Filter in yesterday and decided to try it out. I think it made a huge difference. Ultima 2000 8" SCT, 2.5X powermate.

M13 with the 10D

Here is my first attempt at M13 with my new 10D. It is just one single image. I will try to stack some later to get more detail out of it. I used a Televue 85 and did a 30 second exposure at ISO 1600. I processed with Images Plus, Photoshop, and Neat Image.
