Vixen Fluorite Design QuestionPosted By Shannon Mann |
Group,
Does anyone know if Vixen kept its sourcing of steinheil fluorite doublet lenses from Canon Optron during their entire production run of fluorites - roughly 1985-2003?
I am wondering if a circa 1998 Vixen/Orion 90mm F/9 Fluorite would be up to the quality of the earlier 1980s Vixen/Celestron units?
I have posted this on Cloudynights as well, most folks think they have remained unchanged.
