Please help with info on why a rating cant be added to a sellers profile. This would be their first rating.

I wanted to get info on what may caus a rating not to be accespted on a recent purchase? first sale thus the 5 star rating is important to seller but the buyer wasnt able to leave the rating. Any help is appreciated.
