Is it untactful to ask a buyer or seller to leave a rating on AstroMart, How long should someone wait, what if any is the protocol?

How about some short blurbs on how/where to find replacement parts for DIY projects (ie: Starbound observing chairs) replacement cables and such. It gets pretty costly shipping back to seller for repairs starting with shipping.
