Meade ellipitcal flats

Floyd:

Have you considered a secondary from Discovery? Their prices are very reasonable (probably on par with Meade), and they guarantee 1/10 wave or better.

It is rather sad!

Floyd:

Over the past few days I have read both threads and can't understand why anyone would be offended or insulted by anything you wrote. These were 2 very interesting topics, and I know I learned quite a bit. The large participation by other site members indicates many feel the same way.

I've always enjoyed reading your posts and have found them both respectful and informative. Please continue to participate as normal.

Sincerely,

UO Mirror cell question

Posted By Jerry Fantuzzi

Kurt:

UO has a newly redesigned mirror cell with true 9 point flotation. Go to their website (it has been redesigned too) and click on New Items.

Primary Mirror Cell

Posted By Jerry Fantuzzi

Hi Jay:

Try Astro Sky at: http://astrosky.homestead.com/AstroSkyTrussDobsonian.html

They are an Astromart sponsor.

I have a 16 inch 18 point cell from Astro Sky and it is very well designed and constructed. James (the proprietor) also sells dob kits and structures (as well as complete scopes) at a very competative cost.

Buying a large mirror cell

Posted By Jerry Fantuzzi

Bill:

James Grigar at AsroSky used to list mirror cells for sale on his dobsonian page, but I see they're no longer listed there. Try MC Telescopes at mctelescopes.com
