Is anybody else revving up for the TSP

This will be my third TSP, and it is becoming an astronomy tradition for me! My friend Terry and I will leave from Indy early Friday morning with our van load of scope stuff! Hopefully will be swimming at Balmorhea on Saturday evening prior to checking into our motel in Fort Davis. I am counting on a long clear week like last year. Last year we laughed off the rain on Thursday night and got some sleep!!!! Clear skies see you there.

M13 4-9-05 Rebel 350XT

I have had this camera for two weeks and the Imageplus software for three days. M13 with a total of (12) 30 sec. shots and two darks with my TAK102,G11 unguided, processed with Imageplus. Any thoughts? I am preparing for TSP. Thank you in advance. Chris

M31 at Nebraska starparty

M31 shot with 5 five min. shots stacked and processed with Imageplus. Imaged with an unmodified 350D. Tak 102, F/6 focal reducer, guided with Starlight express Mx5c on a Nikon 300mm telephoto lens and a G11 mount. Great sky 7.5 mag. but the winds were blowing 20 mph! Chris

Double Cluster

This is the California nebula (NGC1499) with a Rebel 350xt modified, 35 min. image with a Williams optics 66mm and a 0.8 reducer. The focal length was 312mm. Imaged at the Illinois dark sky starparty. Clear skies! Chris Dietz
