While stumbling to the kitchen to grab some much needed coffee something caught my attention out of the corner of my eye...

Realizing what it was, forgot the coffee and grabbed my camera!

Cropped, resized and optimized only. (Not sure what size images we could attach, or how many.)

I am still fairly new to the forums, so am not sure about protocol.

If we have images up somewhere else in a gallery, instead of having to repost the OLD images, can we give a link for those to be viewed? Or, should we post the images here?

Will add new images here as I go along, but don't want to have to go through my gallery to do all those images.

So, I'll just post link to my main gallery and those that want to view any of it can take it from there. smile

It is not exclusively landscape, there is some of everything. (Hope that is okay.)

I had briefly glanced in this forum before, but I guess never really paid attention. As far as I was concerned it was something for the Administrators. Go figure. wink

Yes, it is cloudy out tonight so I was bored, thought I would check it. Wish I had a long time ago!

Not only did it provide amusement and bring laughs to me tonight, but it cleared up my question about a disappearing person that I had purchased from and didn't know how to rate. :S

I think this is good though... a place to go to if there is a problem maybe.

Growing up in South Florida there used to be one way to go north, and that was US 27.

My sisters and I would love going by the 'soldiers marching off to war' as we called back then.

After 30 *cough* something years, we still love seeing the soldiers.

M31 - First Light

This was my first light image with new Losmandy G-11 mount and new Orion 80ED.

It was taken at the Chiefland Star Party, after working on getting mount up and running all week, Saturday night before we left Sunday, I was finally able to run mount and have it work properly! So of course, a member of our group told me to grab my camera.

No darks or flats, 4 single images at approximately 1 1/2 to 2 minutes each, unguided.

Then I had to learn how to process..... I think that part is harder than getting the picture! :S

Polite way to ask for rating?

I have had several items for sale recently and have given out my ratings (based on my end of the transactions), but have not received a few ratings back.

I've e-mailed the individuals to make sure that everything was okay with purchase (and would they leave a rating for me), so far all that have responded have said yes, everything is fine, yet still no ratings. sad

I don't want to be a pain in the butt - so, just looking for others thoughts. Do you ever send out request twice? How long do you wait in between requests? I know that leaving a rating is on time-limit, so what are your thoughts?

(It Works) Image link in classifieds not allowed?

Okay, I'll be honest, haven't sold anything on AM since last year, so I'm a bit rusty. wink

Tried placing ad tonight, clicked on Insert image - added link to my image - finished up, clicked continue and got the message:
[COLOR="Red"]
There were errors with your submission, please review the following:
• Links and email addresses are not allowed in your classified ad[/COLOR]

No email addresses listed, and only link was the image.

What do I do now? Any help would be great.

Golden Silk Spider

That is a beautiful picture of the Banana Spider.

We have them all over, my nephew catches flies and pops them into the web to feed them. :S
