Trying to get in contact with Starsplitter (http://www.starsplitter.com). Their website does not seem to currently work. Has anybody else had the same problem?

Massive Solar Flare from AR12192 - 25th Oct

Posted By George Ionas
There was massive solar flare from AR12192 this morning (25th Oct, imaged from New Zealand)). This is one of the biggest flares that I have seen. I've captured some closeup images as well but have not process them yet.

Lunar Eclipse

Yeah, we had a great view of the eclipse here in New Zealand. The rain stopped a couple of hours before the eclipse started and the clouds disappeared to give an excellent view.

lithrow 5.8 inch f-15

Posted By George Ionas
Yes, Phil you can. I have a 4.5 inch f-15 Lithrow made by Garry Nankivell and in the lens case it has written "cemented Lithrow lens with excellent figure".

Peter Wilde in Palmerston North has Gary's Zemax files of lenses that he has designed and build.
