All cars built after 2015 should be powered by...

Since all the Gore inspired tree huggers came on the scene, the most obvious fuel choice to meet our energy needs has been ignored. Nuclear reactors are the answer to our energy generation needs. All the greenies say that we should be more like Europe. France generates 80% of their electricity with nuclear reactors without polluting the air. DUHHHH!!!! Electricity made from nuclear reactors should be powering our cars and everything else. I guess I would place fuel cells on the list as well, even though hydrogen is the raw material. Solar farms can produce it and we have to get over the Hindenburg syndrome....

Richard....Good stuff!! The original question was about cars in 2015. I am sure that oil will still be the highest producer of energy BUT, what is the question is, what is the next best choice. Nuclear energy is the only answer. As far as the RIGHT/left thing goes, The RIGHT has been trying to drill for more oil/gas for decades only to be shot down by the left. Every time the oil companies find a place to drill, there is a caribou or a hairy sculpin in the way. This country needs to get real...and... $4.50 a gallon might help that cause. As far as "waste heat", there isn't any such thing. There is only heat that we haven't found a way to use yet.

THE QUESTION - some of you shouldn't look - you have been warned

Joe...I guess I don't understand the logic from an educated person like yourself speaking that way about the only president we had that had the guts and talent to end the cold war and give us stability and prosperity as well. Shame on you for letting liberal politics dull your obvious intelligence. Use it....Dave Vosgien

Joe....It must be tough to see the "other" party do something politically clever. You should be happy that McCain picked such a weak running mate to help you elect a 150 day senator with no executive experience. By the way Joe, you can drop the "Moderator Astro-Physics Forum" title, we all know what you are....unless you just like to toot your own horn...Dave V

Now that Jay is gone ....

I guess I have to agree with Herb. I am getting tired of the same old political crap with Dave and Konan. Dave really went into the toilet this week with his garbage mouthed attack on Sarah Palin and her 14 year old daughter (not funny). Jimmy does seem like the best choice right now. Konan is still slap sticking with the tweeners....Dave

Health care in the USA

Posted By David Vosgien

Whoever voted to make our healthcare like the Military has never been to a Veterans Hospital. Just look at how the wounded from Iraq are being treated. The private sector has built hospitals and recovery facilities to treat our seriously wounded. Anyone that can still think cannot believe that the Government can manage ANYTHING and do it cheaper and better. Dave Vosgien
