Bill Schaefer Mount & OLD Skysensor Computer

Posted By Nicholas Oshana Jr.

1. I have one of these Schaefer mounts w/ a "computer" interface. I'd like a manual/software(?) to use this.

2. I also have the first version of a SKYSENSOR Control and like to know which motors to get to make operational and how to wire the DIN connectors. Thanks. smile

Have you considered upgrading the mount for GOTO? What do you think?

EQUIPMENT DAMAGED IN SHIPMENT PROCEDURE

Posted By Nicholas Oshana Jr.

I just recently sent a 6" Reflector via USPS, with Insurance & Signature Confirmation to New Hampshire. Mount box arrived with some damage(I try to pack properly). The Tube Box is so far, Lost -In - Space. That tracking number(from my slip) did NOT show up in their system! Has anyone had to make a claim on Insurance? How do you "prove it's value). I never see just the tube for sale anywhere. I appreciate all advice.
