Yes, they are very good scopes!

I compared Tak, TMB and AP side by side and found very little quality difference. In the end I ordered a Tak FSQ because of the long wait on AP scopes and the fact that Tom Beck ( TMB ) is going in for surgery next week and will not be able to ship scopes until June or July.

But once Tom is back on his feet I plan on ordering a 130 from him.

I asked the same question a while back and was told that yes you can use the TOA 1.6X Extender for the FSQ and likewise use the 2.0X Extender Q with the TOA-130.

BUT ( there is always a but )

The TOA 1.6X Extender is tuned for the f/7 of the TOA-130 and the Extender Q is tuned for the faster f/5 of the FSQ.

I have a TOA-130 now and have the FSQ on order when it comes in I will try mixing and matching the Extenders and let you know my results.
