Help for a new BV'er

Posted By Mark Schulz

Well, I've made the plunge and purchased a used TV Bino Vue. I have one 16mm T5 Nagler, and plan on picking up another, but have a few other decisions to make... (I will use these in my 600mm FL refractor and my 1200mm FL dob.)

Which of the following ep's should I double next:
6mm Radian or
9mm T6 Nagler.

Or should I sell my 2" 22mm or 31mm Nag and buy a pair of 24mm Pans? (It's hard to imagine parting with one of those ep's.)

What would you experienced folks do?

Radians in a Binoviewer

Posted By Mark Schulz

The mention of Radians in another thread got me thinking. Has anyone ever removed the sliding "instadjust" piece? If I get a pair for my binoviewer I'd like to put some winged eye guards on there but know the ones I have won't fit on the instadjust piece. Would they fit on the ep without it?

Radians Adapted for Binoviewing

Posted By Mark Schulz

I just got some 14mm Radians for my binoviewer, and thought some might be interested in seeing the result of removing the instadjust sleeve and replacing it with a winged eyeguard. I found it to be very helpful for "nose relief" (grin).
