LX 200 12 eyepiece help

Posted By Brad Honn

Ok I have a LX200 12" on order it will be replacing my c8. The eyepieces that I currently have are panoptic 27 2" celetron ultima 18mm 12.5mm 7.5mm. I dont think that the 7.5mm will work very often based on seeing. I would like the best possible FOV using a 2" eyepiece. The panoptic 41mm is one Iam thinking about. For planets and moon I was thinking about Nagler t4 12mm. I had also considered a 2x powermate but I dont know if that is something I really need.

What eyepieces would you guys recommend for me.

Thanks
Brad

My Skyshed is finished

Posted By Brad Honn

When I order my LX200 12" I decided to have a skyshed built. I went with a 10x12. All I can say is in less than 5 minutes I up and running it makes it worth every penny.
