APM 25x100 binos

Posted By Anders Asp

Hi!
ooh finally, last week i got my new toy. I have never owned such big binocular, its a monster, and i like it. I live in Sweden, and up here there is not so popular using binos, i think most prefer real telescopes. So far i havent had one singel good night without clouds =( , but soon it will come =) . I think this binos are quite amazing for the money. Is there somebody else here who owns a pair of this fine 25x100 APM-binos???

I hope you all will understand this, because iam not so good at english, sorry =(.

How much power on Mars?

Posted By Anders Asp

Hi, Under good conditions how much power is rekomended on Mars. I just have one eyepiece,a Meade 3000 25mm (81x) my telescope is an Meade Lx10.I think 81x thats way to low power. Iam about to buy one Celestron Ultima barlow 2x and one 15mm Meade 4000 eyepiece, i hope that will help me out a little bit.

Celestrons new 80 and 102mm spottingscope...

Posted By Anders Asp

Hi!
I'am thinking of getting either the new 80mm or the 102mm Celestron spottingscope, how good are they? I will use it as a big finderscope on my Meade Lx10 8" and when i travel. Both scopes 80 and the 102mm are small, compact and lightweighter. Does anyone know the price on these twoscopes? Any suggestiones!
