There is a CGE User Group set up on Yahoo. They have been posting lots of info regarding the CGE scopes. You can join that group and ask any questions of the members. Most of what they have been saying is positive although there seems to be a lot of mount tweeking being mentioned. I have been considering getting a CGE mount. I have been following the threads in this group. The URL is:

I need HELP WITH MARS

Posted By John Dwyer

HI Justin,

Have you imaged anything else such as the Moon or Jupiter before trying Mars? Are you sure you are getting a decent focus? Did you look at some amateur's web pages that have used that camera with a C-8 to see their results? Mars is about half the size of Jupiter right now. It can be a little difficult to get a lot of detail with a C-8 depending on how much atmosphere you are looking through.

Comet C/2006 W3 Cristensen Brightest comet in the

Hi Dennis,

I was able to easily see Comet Christensen in my C-6 about a week ago from my place just south of Tucson. I believe my SQM reading is about 21. I also tried viewing it through a 80mm f/5 refractor, and that was a little tough as it appears rather small. Here is an image I took of it in June:
