CM-1100 Set-ups?

I recently purchased a CM-1100 from Celestron. They recommended a 2" Axiom 40mm eyepiece with a 2" diagonal for the set-up. Does anyone have any experience with this set-up? Is the Axiom eyepiece worth the $150 premium over a Plossl eyepiece?

It was recommended that I purchase a 2" Televue everite diagonal. Because of economics, I was going to mount it on a Celestron CG5. I was also debating whether to purchase Televue radian or Vixen wideviews. (1) 6mm & (1) 14mm. Any comments are welcomed.
