Celestron ultima 9.25

I just bought a used 9.25 ultima. it has the hand controller and the computer box but nothing else. what else do I need to get the computer box to work? this scope is the one that has the fork mount and heavy duty tripod and wedge. it also has the clock drive and PEC.

Question about Primefocus Photography

I have a mamiya/seckor with the screw mount lens, and I need to know where I can get an adapter for it to connect to a celestron 9.25. All the t-rings I have seen are the bayonet style. I am new to this and wanted to know how easy is primefocus photography? What I would like to be able to do is attach the camera to the scope, center and focus the object, and take the picture, is it that simple or am I dreaming. What kind of pictures can I expect, does anyone have any I could look at. Thanks, Chris

encoder question

what type of encoders would it take to work with the celestron advanced astro master box. I have just the box, no encoders or cables, and celestron stop making the kit for my scope. any suggestion on how I can make it work. I have some encoders I bought to make Dave Eks DSC, they are a S2 series encoder.

Question about digital imaging software???

How good of program is Microsoft picture it Digital Image Pro v.7.0 for editing astro photos, I know you can not compare it to PhotoShop v7.0 but will it work good enough to get some detail from my pics? Also I am going to try a webcam,what software should I use with that,I have a copy of registax but I do not have the cam yet to be able to use it, would I be able to use the microsoft software?

this is me and my celestron ultima 9.25 and the house for my scope. I originallly built this for my dob that is why the walls fold down.

I am having problems aligning my scope. I have a 9.25 ultima. Does the warp factor play a big part in alignment, I can never get mine any smaller than 2.9. any suggestions. the alignment stars I use are capella and arcturus.

I have my encoder setting at 8000.
