In an ideal world, you would be correct, however, this is very difficult in practice as the major broadcast networks seem to place their political bias ahead of airing the president when he attempts to address the nation.

I guess this is simply the "educated" network executives deciding what's best for the american people. After all, the general public are much too stupid to decide for themselves.

Rest assured, I'll sleep well tonight knowing we have the major networks looking out for our best interests. 8O

Thinking like that is exactly why the demoncraps can't get elected anywhere. Your party is mis-aligned completely with respect to the leadership it chooses. As long as they associate themselves with the likes of Al Sharpton and Howard Dean, you can forget about the moderate vote in america.

Nils, go crawl back under whatever rock you slithered out from. I don't recall seeing any rules stating "demoncrap" wasn't welcome here. I find your post highly contentious given the unbelievable rant by Al Gennari which garnered no response whatsoever from you. Why is that acceptable, yet my one jest is not. Here again, just another case of inconsistency coming from a dem.

Last but not least, going forward, I will refrain from attempting to inject humor into such highly controversial subjects as politics. It's obvious that some individulas just can't let things go, or take a joke.

I don't recall stating that they were a threat to democracy. I do recall stating that the democrats can forget about winning elections if they continue to showcase men of thier caliber. Take it FWIW.

The sooner you abandon Dean and Sharpton, the sooner you can bring Barack Obama to the forefront. He may very well be the man to return the democrats to their former glory. Heck, based on what I've seen of him, he'll probably even get my vote.
