2" Bino here yet?

Posted By Roger Greenwood

Today is the projected day for the Siebert 2" unveiling. Anyone hear anything? I noticed Harry mentions it is FilterSlide freindly. Does that
mean the FilterSlide I make will not need an adapter, Harry?

dust inside Bino's

Posted By Roger Greenwood

I was wondering if anyone has had issues with dust inside their Bino's? I used to have the Black Night's that had that problem in my dusty/grassy environment. But now that I've upgraded to the Denk II's it hasn't happened. It may be I am being much more careful. But also, it may be that the Denk's are sealed? It looks like the glass is right up against the opening on front and back. Anyone? I am a little paranoid about anything getting inside the BV's.

Denkmeier "FMC" Coatings...Need Advice!

Posted By Roger Greenwood

I believe the difference would be more for the H-Alpha solar viewing. If you don't plan on using it for that , then the FMC's
are ok. If anyone knows better, please speak up.

8-24 TeleVue Zoom or Nagler EPs

Posted By Roger Greenwood

Howard:

Personally, I found the TV zooms to be an inferior ep compared to any Nagler.
Limited fov and not as sharp to the edge. I vote for the 9mm Nags. I use the 13mm nags in my Denk II and love them. Very comfortable to use. Between my 24mm pans, the 13mm nags, and my power X switch, I feel I've covered most of the bases.
