I started an auction to "buy" a telescope. I know that sounds counter intuitive. Rather dumb I think. Bottomline: I think I messed up and want to cancel the auction. There are no bidders. How do I stop the auction.

Well,  now I have a bidder for .05 cents.  I didn't know how to cancel during the few days when  there were no bidders though I tried.. Clearly, my mistaken "buyer's auction" shows that it is me that wants to buy not to sell. I do not own or possess a model 324 Jason telescope, the item that is the subject matter of the auctioned. In fact I purchased a classified ad on this website that shows that I am indeed seeking this item. I still don't know how to cancel this mistake.
I guess I have no choice niw but to let this play out though I would like to spare others disappointment and inconvenience. Again, I apologize. If you can give me further guidance on how to conclude this issue, it would be helpful.
