I have been shooting eclipses for a while, and always like tinkering with new setups and ideas. That is half the fun right?

I would love to get others thoughts and ideas as I plan to go Spain, and of course, Egypt.

In the past, I've shot the following equipment

• Nikon D850 with 600mm Prime with Glass Solar Filter
• Sony A1 with 600mm Prime with Glass Solar Filter
• Lunt 80mm double stack (Annular eclipse)

I want to run two setups in Spain, (one being my Sony A1 with 600mm Prime)

I am toying with purchasing an OSC like ZWO ASI1600MC Pro or a QHY 268C and mounting it to my Takahashi 106FSQ.  I would love to hear others experiences with a setup like this.  (ie.  Better corona, filter shows more detail in Sol, etc)
