Our club's outreach observatory destroyed by CA fires. HELP!Posted By Gert Gottschalk |
Dear All,
The Tri-Valley Stargazers Astronomy Club is sad to report that our main observatory building and the telescopes inside were destroyed on August 19, 2020 during the historic SCU Lightning Complex wildfires in California. This was a devastating loss for the club, but we are committed to rebuilding and now need your help.
To find out more about the fire and to make a donation please visit our fundraising page on Gofundme:

Please visit our club page for updates:

We are determined to rebuild. Besides monetary donations, if you are upgrading your advanced amateur observatory to the next level of mount / OTA please consider us for a donation of the used equipment.
Clear Skies,
Gert (TVS)
