Threatening genocide is a war crime.  War crimes are illegal.  Giving an order to commit a war crime is illegal.  QED.

Do try to keep up.

What Illegal order did he give?  Please do try again.

And no, you continuing to assert your delusional mindset does not amount to a fact.  You certainly are entitled to live in your delusional state of mind, but asserting lies and asserting those lies with conviction, does not amount to evidence to the contrary.
From the Convention on the prevention and punishment of the crime of Genocide (CPPCG) to which the USA is signatory.

"The Convention defines genocide as any of five "acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group". These five acts include killing members of the group, causing them serious bodily or mental harm, imposing living conditions intended to destroy the group, preventing births, and forcibly transferring children out of the group. Victims are targeted because of their real or perceived membership of a group..."

The 'national group' here is Iran and its people.  The "causing of bodily or mental harm" is Trumps threat to destroy power plants and other infrastructure.  In his words, "...bomb Iran into the Stone Age..."

Furthermore:
"The convention further criminalizes "complicity, attempt, or incitement of its commission". Member states are prohibited from engaging in genocide and are obligated to pursue the enforcement of this prohibition. All perpetrators are to be tried regardless of whether they are private individuals, public officials, or political leaders with sovereign immunity..."

You are right about one thing - he hasn't given the order yet - so when and if he does that's the 'illegal order' that I hope the US military leaders refuse under the Universal Code of Military Justice.

I suppose that if the generals refuse the order then Hegseth can fire them all tomorrow and replace them with compliant generals - he has form for that.

It’s 708 EDT now so let’s see what shakes out in less than an hour.

I’m up next here at the Brighton Royal Canadian Legion open mic on the  anniversary of the death of John Prine so you can probably guess what I’m gonna play.  Or you can suggest a tune.

I did "Let's Talk Dirty in Hawaiian" and "It's a Big 'Ol Goofy World"..

While I was on stage The Cheeto-skinned moron gave them another two weeks.  So we will have to table this discussion until then.

Unless you want to talk about John Prine.

Trump Derangement Syndrome used to be an epithet hung on liberals for constantly criticizing Trump.

We're now at a point where we can clearly see that we were right all along and that TDS is now what you call any person who supports, excuses or enables Trump.

Reuters: "US Supreme Court under Roberts takes 'wrecking ball' to Voting Rights Act"

The gerrymandering is a state by state issue as I understand it so there are x states gerrymandering one of the ways above and y states doing it the other way and these actions, however opposite in intent and execution they are, are both 'defensible positions and neither are Constitutionally wrong'.

Really?

That just seems like a messed up situation..... It's like 25 states drive cars on the right side of the road and 25 on the left because each state has the power to legislate for  its own citizenry for the 'local' good based on that one state's needs without regard to what the effect nationally might be.

Am I reading this wrong or .....?

However, the betting market has Paxton favored to win at this point, too.

Faux news and Jesse Waters have already started a propaganda campaign against Talarico by insinuating that he's either gay, vegan and anti-beef or "prebuicient" and not the manly alpha male type required to lead the great state of Texas. That, and all of the anti-Paxton campaign ads and/or criticisms of him prior to his win over Cornyn, have now been scrubbed by the GOP. So, while Talarico should be the logical preference by anyone who objectively looks at the choices, I remind myself of my past reading of what JFK told Jackie the night before he was assassinated in Dallas: "We gotta be careful, we're going to nut country tomorrow."
Huh?

New word for me...
