LOL! No matter how the leftist media attempts to twist the polling, it appears that at the moment, Trump is leading Biden by 6 percentage points.

That's usually followed by a few lines of insults implying my intellect is deficient. When you do bring this up, which is constantly, it's usually when you have nothing else to add to the topic of a thread. Typical Dodgeball Davis mode of operations.

Maybe I should bring up how you threatened me with physical harm and throw that into your face more often?

Or how you've harassed me with private messages this past last week after I repeatedly asked you to stop? Maybe I should mention that?

Sorry everyone, I just don't give a flying F anymore. I've had it with this POS and again starting to feel I don't need to be posting here. How many folks have have left in the past five years? Ten years? I know some pass on, but  I go back and look in the archives and miss those folks. There used to be more conservatives, too, but even they were chased off or chose to quit posting. What I don't see are any posts made by Davis as they were all expunged. Why was that? I do enjoy this place or I wouldn't have hung out for so long along with liking every one of you guys minus Davis. I've had this feeling before yet always come back.

His behavior here is no better than that of his orange idol when he stormed out of court today, although he'll probably appreciate being compared to him.
Not that shit again.  It's hard to believe you're talking about a (supposedly) full-grown adult.

You should post them here so we can get a laugh, too!

Here is the complete PM exchange initiated by Davis with my replies. Obviously, he spun it in his own special way. I think I'm pretty clear in my responses and in no way was I calling him names in the PMs. Obviously, he is nothing but a school bully and agitator pretending to be man. Talk about trying to goad someone into an altercation, wether here on the internet, or in person since he once threatened me with physical harm.

SUBJECT: Hi Buddy!

Davis: I almost forgot something, then I thought about your Wayne LaPierre story today

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uSTOHa4Im4

Me: Stop sending me private messages. I'm not your buddy.

SUBJECT: Re: Hi Buddy!

Davis: So then Bowling is out of the question for our Weekend get together??    :'(

Me: Please stop private messaging me. If you have something to say say it in the forum.

SUBJECT: I just need to get some clarity..

Davis: So then we aren't friends anymore, and I shouldn't send you any more private messages???
Just wanting to understand  smile

Me: I asked you to stop sending me private messages twice now. If you have anything to say to me regarding the politics forum please do it there.

SUBJECT: Since you've decided you'll be calling me out by name in each and every response you write on the forum. I thought it would be appropriate to send you a PM when you do it.

Davis: As for that LaPierre story of yours.....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uSTOHa4Im4

Keep them coming! smile

Me: For the last time, please stop private messaging me. If you have anything to say to me concerning a post I make please do it there.

End of messages.

He finally got the hint after four attempts.

Is this the way a normal person acts? Am I just so sheltered that I've never really personally met or experienced anyone on the internet quite like Davis? I'm on FB but really don't care for it and other than occasionally on this forum I'm mostly over on CN. It is very Pollyanna-ish, but in a good way, where folks are more or less decent to each other. I have lots of friends there and sometimes hope they don't read my posts here.

I try to keep my cool here, but Davis just knows how to push those buttons.

<snark>. Concerning the number of attempts with the PMs and with all of Davis' previous innuendo and homophobia, which happens quite often, maybe he in fact he really does like me. You know, wink wink, nudge, nudge, know what I mean? Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Sorry Rich, I'm taken, my wife and partner in life for 41 years and I are very happy.

Too bad you'll never experience something as great as that.
No need to apologize, you're not the one with the personality disorder.

The fact that you are crowing about the GOP wasting the people's time and money on a pointless and baseless impeachment that has zero chance of conviction in the Senate tells us all we need to know about today's GOP. The Senate may not even have a trial and probably will shelve the impeachment to a committee to die. So, bravo! What a colossal waste of time and money.
Exactly!  How anyone could think that this was a smart move by the GOP is beyond me.  Do they really think the voters aren't paying attention?

A Georgia face-plant is going to be especially dangerous since Biden refuses to step down after each embarrassment.

On another matter, I for one do not think most persuadable voters understand why nice but forgetful old-man Joe Biden gets a pass on his classified document crimes, while Trump faces trial and incarceration.  Sure there are nuanced differences, but in the mind of anyone who would consider voting for Trump, the nuances are overwhelmed by the appearance of political prosecution going hand in glove with political favoritism.

On another matter the Supreme Court's likely unanimous decision calling bull on the attempt to use the 14th Amendment to keep Trump off the ballot in Colorado and other states is blowing up in the D's faces, as predicted.

Nice job Ds.  Every day I become more convinced that Trump gets 4 more years.  Really nice job.
I agree with you that there is plenty of idiocy on both sides, and I don't even know what to make of the Fani Willis debacle.  That one is unbelievable.

However, I totally disagree that the differences between the two classified documents case is nuanced.  The difference is huge!  Biden cooperated.  Trump did not. He lied about having them, he showed them off to uncleared people, and he tried to obstruct their return. Hell, he probably still has some. Maybe to the average citizen that's a nuanced difference, but to somebody in the business it's anything but.

Trump getting 4 more years? I seriously doubt it.   Speaking in broad numbers, half the country is D, and the other half is R.  I doubt ANY Ds will vote for Trump, and there are still a good number of Rs with integrity who are never going to vote for Trump.  That doesn't add to a win for Trump in my mind.

I also appreciate your broad stroke electoral college analysis. It makes a lot of sense to me.   Still, there are possibly swing voters in swing states who are feeling pain in the grocery stores, at the pump, or in a new mortgage who are willing to vote for Trump because their own blue-collar financial picture has deteriorated.

Also, the polls are not as optimistic as you, and I fear that Biden is the one candidate who could possibly lose in 2024.  Thanks for the encouragement though!   Jim
James L - if your reading this; Jim is starting to show his age - he's starting to confuse the two of us.  Having read most of your posts over the years, I'll take that as a compliment.

p.s.  I am old!  Retired as of 2/1/24.  Digging it immensely!  I followed my wife on her business trip to Spain a week or so ago, which was fabulous.   Been messing around on some projects - can't wait for March/April, when the fly fishing season starts!   (And cycling and hiking in earnest!)   This January/February has been kind of cold and dreary.
I'm right behind you - this is my last year of employment!

All of the above, with emphasis on "C".

Trump's base is in the clear minority, thankfully.  I think the only reason ever got into office in the first place is because a lot of normal, reasonable people were willing to give him a shot.  Of course, he turned out to be a far more incompetent buffoon than anyone could have imagined. I'm pretty sure those normal reasonable people aren't going to make that mistake again. Fingers crossed!
