U.S. Rich Pay More Taxes Than Any Other Nation

Posted By Patrick Keafer

Dave,

The problem is not that the rich don't pay enough, it is that too many people pay almost nothing. It would probably be political suicide, but we really should have a minimum 1% tax on people who are employed and we should phase out the mortgage deduction.

Now before I get attacked for being a lib tax raiser or a heartless paleo con, I happen to think a generally low tax environment is ideal, but everyone should pay a little more to help pay down our debt that we accrued. We spent it and now we own it.

A new low for this scumbag...

The presidency is just another notch in this idiot's bedpost. He has no regard for human feelings or compassion, or what it is like to sacrifice.

He will send our sons, daughters, brothers, and sisters to death at the hand of Netanyahu just to pay back a favor to his former business buddy since he has never served and has no compassion for human life (hence his flipping and flopping on abortion too).

Sounds kind of like Obama claiming "he" killed Osama Bin Laden.

Who kidnapped Romney?

Hey, who was that guy debating Obama tonight? I know it looked like Mit, but it didn't sound like him. Geez, anyone who agrees that much with Obama should vote for him. There is only one explanation, someone kidnapped the Mitster.

Let me preface this by saying I didn't watch the debate, but what exactly do you want Romney to say? The two are remarkably similar on foreign policy. Citing bad leadership and problems in Libya will not fill a 90 min debate.

Among likely voters. On Gallup, so it could be even worse for Dear Leader. The electoral college is still a close battle.

Ironically, Romney could win the popular vote and lose the electoral college vote. I'm sure libs would be ecstatic with this payback.

Good news for Romney, but he still needs Ohio.

Romney: "Bush A Great Leader"

Rod Kaufman said:

Er, ah, that's Jeb Bush. Romney won't mention his George...

Actually, I think both were great leaders. Unfortunately some of Dubya's policies were misguided.

Compare them to the current President, who has no leadership ability AND enacts bad policy.

Calling this race for Obama...

Not to be a douche...But Obama won. 7:28 Arizona Time....

I think you are right. Pennsylvania and Wisconsin should have been closer and are indications Romney doesn't have enough votes. Even if Romney wins it, Florida should not be this close. I hope I am wrong and anything can happen but I think demographics are finally catching up with Republicans. There aren't enough white conservatives or independents to win anymore.
