Really nice shots Floyd. Do you usually bin your color shots?

Hi Thomas,

Really great image, lots and lots of dust. How dark are the skies where you are imaging?

Hi Jason,

Your image looks great to me. I've been thinking about adding the O(III) and S(II) narrow band filters as well. I have an ST-10XME on an NP-101 and I find that it can sometimes be quite difficult to find a guide star with the Ha filter in place. I'm looking at getting a separate guide scope/chip setup before I take the plunge into narrowband.

cheers,

Jeff

Cool shot Floyd, some RBG data for the stars might make it even more interesting.

Pelican Ha with ASA N8 - 290 minutes

Really nice image Tyler. Great processing, much gentler than mine - perhaps I'll have another go at my data. I think more data would help my image as well. I stuck with 5 min subs for the same reasons you stuck with 10 min - I hate losing subs and the autoguiding with my 9.25 on my G11 took some tinkering (and it is still not perfect ...)

cheers,

Jeff

Another excellent image Floyd.

Can you give some exposure information?

By the way, I just received my TCF-S - I'm waiting on the adaptor to mount it on my NP-101 to try it out. Turns out that I have to completely remove the stock focuser to mount this bad boy.

cheers,

Jeff
