NY Times, NY Post, People Magazine, The Atlantic Magazine, Time Magazine, LA Times, Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC, Media Matters, ABC, CBS, NBC, NPR, PBS, Wall Street Journal, the Hill.  And those are the ones I can keep in memory off the top of my head.  MOST of those are MAJOR NEWS OUTLETS.

Ok, now give me an example from everyone one, for the last 30 days, that have printed false stories every day (or any day, for that matter), and give me a link to prove it, please. Simply stating they did does not make it so.

Stories, that are true, but negative, don't count.

The truly frightening thing is not that you, Rich, and others would make a statement like Rich made.  The truly frightening thing is you truly believe it and accept it as fact without any evidence.

Could be, but isn't, unfortunately. But you are free to believe whatever you want.

You are more than welcome to help Rich prove that every one of the media outlets he listed printed or broadcast a false story, every day, just going back thirty days. Be my guest.

Or any false stories by any of them during the same time frame, for that matter. Please prove me wrong.

And I do have a pretty nice life, thank you.

So, nothing fake, just a general attack on Trump on a daily basis by each of those outlets is your complaint?

Then list these daily attacks by each outlet instead so I can have an understanding of what you consider an "attack". Reporting truthfully the events over the last month of Cohen's plea, the conviction of Mannafort, Trump's tweets, payments to porn stars to keep silent, and on and on and on...is only reporting truthfully the news. It's not an attack.

The press has a duty to report news events, good and bad, and as far as I can see, they've done a pretty good job of doing both. Are some outlets more inclined to highlight the bad and not the good? Sure, just like FoxNews did with the Cohen story. I'm sure I can find some examples on the other side as well if I looked long enough.

But to make a blatant statement that ALL of those outlets you listed on a daily basis are attacking Trump without the ability or willingness to provide a single example, or to show that a single story was false, or even slightly bent in a liberal direction, is simply changing realty to fit your own universe.

Those tactics are the mark of political lightweights.

Please don't accuse me of yelling bigot toward the Republican party. I never said that and never will. What happened in Charlottesville is history that cannot be changed and Trump's statement failing to condemn those white racists who were there and by saying that some "on the other side are good people, too" cannot be erased. There is no good white supremacist, in my opinion.  But in Trumpworld, some on that side are good people, too, as he said. There is a reason Don Black, a former grand dragon of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan and founder of the neo-Nazi site Stormfront; Rocky Suhayda, chair of the American Nazi Party; and Rachel Pendergraft, a national organizer for the Knights Party, the successor to David Duke’s Knights of the Ku Klux Klan all support Trump publicly. Richard Spencer, an emerging leader among a new generation of white nationalists known as the “alt right,” declared that Trump “loves white people.”

I simply said in my bio as to who I am, that I think because I am white, I don't deserve anything more than anyone else. I never said all republicans are bigots and racists or homophobic. I've got enough problems here without you misquoting me.

Well, Rich, you and the other goose-stepping Trump supporters haven't been about to come up with a single example of the "daily attacks by the liberal media" you lied about.

Another conservative blowhard silenced into submission when confronted with realty.

My work is done here.

Richard,

In your various ramblings, I've seen a pattern where you blame "liberals" and "leftists" for pretty much bad things happening to our country over the last two decades. But you are never specific.

I honestly respect your passion in the cause you believe in even if I believe it misguided.

We are very similar in age and experience if your description of yourself is accurate (since you won't disclose your actual identity, I have to take your word for it). I'm trying to understand how someone like you can support someone like Trump, and someone like me, can support someone like Obama.

Is it because you believe the America you love is slipping away, threatened by the rapidly changing face of what you believe is the “real” America: a heterosexual, Christian, middle-class, (mostly) male, white country?

Is it because you believe changing attitudes, such as the acceptance of gay or racial equality, gender identity awareness or sensitivities issues, mandated health care, or other social issues you don't agree with is a real threat to your way of life?

Is that it? If not, what then? I'm really trying to get my head around how any decent and moral person with integrity who has a snippet of any intellect could not see Trump for what he is and so passionately defend him.

Well, at least we won't have to take you seriously anymore. And I presume that will be your last post.

But I certainly can see from your posts before this one, you are confused.

I wish for you the best for you.

Rich, seriously, your post wasn't that obscure. I didn't think mine was either.

But, still, while I appreciate your background, I'm trying to understand why you are so passionate about your beliefs as I asked.

That's what was important. I'd really like to try to understand what made you think they way you do regarding Trump, the left, and why you are so passionately opposed to anything progressive?

I'm not being argumentative or trying to do anything but to try to understand why those, like youself, who voted for Trump, would do so, since he does not have many traits to be proud of.
